Vince McMahon to announce ‘the biggest acquisition in SmackDown history’ on this week’s show

Monday Night Raw snagged AJ Styles, The Usos, Naomi, The Miz, and others from SmackDown Live on night one of WWE’s annual Superstar Shake-up. The blue brand gets its turn on this week’s episode from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and WWE is already promising something big.

The mystery has been heightened by Mr. McMahon, who will be revealing the biggest acquisition in SmackDown LIVE history tonight. Who has the WWE Chairman secured for the blue brand?

A promise like that from WWE doesn’t exactly mean all that much, considering the company’s history. It could be someone like Roman Reigns, who would fit the bill, but it could also be someone like Braun Strowman, in an attempt to make “biggest” a literal statement.

It’s the kind of thing they would do.

Either way, it’s the perfect tease to get curious fans to tune in.
