WWE to stream The Shield’s last house show match on the Network

WWE is really getting as much as it can out of Dean Ambrose before he leaves the company.

The latest is an announcement of a live special on the WWE Network entitled “The Shield’s Last Chapter” that will air this coming Sunday night. Here’s how the promotion is describing it:

In what will be the groundbreaking faction’s FINAL match together, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Universal Champion Seth Rollins will team up for a special event, The Shield’s Last Chapter, streaming LIVE this Sunday, April 21, at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT on WWE Network. Don’t miss the legendary trio’s final ride together in WWE.

Also, Finn Bálor will be in action to defend the Intercontinental Championship.

This is doubly special for Seth Rollins because this Sunday night’s show is being held at the Tax Slayer Center in Moline, Illinois, which is right next door to Davenport, where Seth makes his home in the Quad Cities. Ambrose’s contract is up by the end of the month and he’ll be leaving WWE, so it’s bittersweet, of course, but WWE is trying to make it special.

They’re also beating it into the ground, but that’s to be expected.
