Even before she broke her hand in the main event of WrestleMania 35 last Sunday night (April 7), the talk was that Ronda Rousey would be leaving WWE after the event. While it wasn’t 100%, word was there was no guarantee when or if she’d return.
The latest, and possibly last, episode of her vlog Ronda on the Road does nothing but make those reports look true.
Well before we get to the night of, the video makes it seem like this could be the end of Rowdy’s pro wrestling journey. Leaving her hotel Sunday morning, a member of her team asks her why she’s so happy. Rousey replies, “cause today is the beginning of the rest of my life.”
At MetLife Stadium, Rousey visits with Roddy Piper’s family and meets Joan Jett. Ronda on the Road does a great job giving us a feel for what it must be like to spend 4+ hours waiting for a main eventer to wait for your time to finally arrive at WWE’s Show of Shows. We see some highlights of the match with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, and spend time in the trainer’s room watching her get x-rays on her right hand (the damage is somewhere along her pinky, possibly at the knuckle - but we don’t get a definitive diagnosis here).

Then it’s a series of hugs. First with her husband, Travis Browne. Then with the man believed to have recruited her into WWE, Triple H, and finally with the one who’s said to have coached her through her time there, Paul Heyman.
Is this the end of Ronda Rousey, WWE Superstar? Only time will tell. But there’s nothing here to make us think it’s not.
