This comes on the heels of various reports that Sasha Banks is unhappy with WWE, may have tried to quit, and is most definitely working the situation as best she knows how. She is no longer a tag team champion, and while she kicked up an old feud with Alexa Bliss on Twitter this past Monday, she didn’t actually appear on Raw and, presumably, has nothing going on.
Lynch, of course, won both the Raw and SmackDown women’s championships in the main event of WrestleMania 35 and her star couldn’t be shining any brighter. She’s headed for a feud with Lacey Evans.
Her publicly calling out Banks isn’t likely to lead to anything on WWE television but it’s quite clearly a show of support.
She did link it back to Evans:
You see New Charlotte - while you’re out there trying to rehash Ronnie’s old, failed, “tHe MaN iS A mAN” tripe, The Champ Champ is showing you how to attract real interest in a fight. Keep watching, sweetie. Then try keep up @LaceyEvansWWE— The Man (@BeckyLynchWWE) April 12, 2019
The point remains.
