AJ Styles is going directly to the people to address the latest rumors regarding his injury suffered at WrestleMania.

While streaming PUBG on his Mixer channel, Styles addressed recent rumors regarding his health after he defeated Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35 but was not at the SmackDown after Mania.

“So any breaking news coming out for AJ Styles, I’ll let you know. I have a sprained SI joint. When you do that your muscles are there to protect. When they protect, your hips get off sometimes and what not. Therefore you pinch nerve endings and you’re in a lot of pain. So that’s what is going on with me. Nothing too severe. Just got to get those muscles to ease up and treat a sprain like a sprain. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to heal. I’ll be back in action soon.”

During the stream, Styles also did mention that the week after WrestleMania he usually gets extra days off anyway. The Phenomenal One would go on to note he still does not know if in the future his days off will come on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

On Monday reports surfaced that Styles was injured and would miss the following night’s SmackDown. Rumors later in the week pointed to Styles hurting his hip during a Phenomenal Forearm attempt at WrestleMania 35.
