For better or worse, Hulk Hogan and the WrestleMania brand have been attached at the hip since Mar. 31, 1985.
Today (Mar. 7) WWE held a press conference to announce the location and venue of WrestleMania 36 in April 2020.
When the live stream went live for WWE’s huge announcement, guess who was the first face viewers saw? First person to the podium?
We’ll give you one guess, brother.
Hogan was also a part of WWE’s Be a Star event later in the day at a local Tampa Bay Boys & Girls Club.

Since coming back to the company, WWE has been careful on when and where they utilize Hogan.
When we last saw Hogan in the public eye, he was hanging out in the club with Jamie Foxx and providing his opinion on the state of WWE’s tag team division. No, seriously he was.
In January, Hogan made a cameo on Monday Night Raw to honor the late ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund. For the most part Hogan was cheered during appearance and tribute to his friend.
With WrestleMania 36 in is his home state of Florida, WWE once again trotted Hogan to be one of the faces of their company. Should WWE have gone with another legend or modern day superstar to take Hogan’s place here?
