Miesha Tate on Rousey-Lynch feud: ‘Ronda’s pissed. Ronda’s not joking’

If there is one person in the world who can understand what is possibly going on in the head of Ronda Rousey, it’s her former MMA rival Miesha Tate.

When Rousey was coming up through the ranks early in her MMA career, Tate was bantamweight champion and the two women quickly turned into natural made rivals. Rousey and Tate fought twice, once for the Strikeforce women’s title then again for the UFC women’s bantamweight title in Dec. 2013.

Rousey won both fights by armbar over Tate and the two women came out of each bout bigger stars than before.

Now a co-host of MMA Tonight on SiriusXM, Tate recently spoke about how Rousey is doing in WWE and if her current feud with Becky Lynch may be really getting under the former UFC’s champion’s skin.

“It got under her skin. I know about this. You don’t talk about her family, you don’t talk about this, even if it’s just a joke. She does not have a sense of humor, and therefore **** got real. No, Ronda’s pissed. Ronda’s not joking. She’s not playing games. She’s not used to having to play by rules. She never had to before. Why is she going to now? She’s already broken the rule with the F-word, saying some things are ‘fake.’ She’s not a company woman. She never has been.”

For the past week plus rumors have swirled that Rousey is legitimately frustrated in her feud with Lynch as it currently stands. At the same time, rumors have also popped up that Rousey’s last date with WWE may be the night after WrestleMania 35.

Is Miesha Tate on to something? Is the feud with Becky Lynch the last straw that may push Ronda Rousey into pausing her pro wrestling career sooner than expected?
