It may not be the main event, but I’ll be damned if Seth Rollins challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal championship may not end up being “Match of the Night” at WrestleMania 35 on Sun., April 7, 2019, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Rollins has been waiting for the opportunity for a long time:
I’ve had this in my office for nearly 4 years for a very specific reason. It’s a reminder of where I’ve been, but more importantly of where I want to be. In 8 days the world finally gets the right version of this fight. Redemption is upon us. Let’s take it back. #Wrestlemania pic.twitter.com/6zFr14ljgX

That Battleground match was all about setting up Lesnar vs. Undertaker at SummerSlam the next month. They were given all of nine minutes and the finish was a disqualification, a huge disappointing considering how epic the last encounter featuring these two was, a triple threat at Royal Rumble earlier that year that also involved John Cena. Lesnar pinned Rollins that night.
Now, they’re going to get a straight up singles match, with the Universal title on the line, after Rollins won the Royal Rumble. His back injury seems to be mostly cleared up and he’s as motivated as ever.
Now let’s just hope WWE gives them time to put together a classic.
