WWE Fastlane 2019 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Fastlane event set to take place on Sun., Mar. 10, 2019, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. This will be the fifth show bearing the name and will be the final stop before WrestleMania 35 in April.

We’re just one week from showtime and here’s how the card looks right now:

  • Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kevin Owens - WWE championship

They originally planned to go with Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston but Vince McMahon showed up to give the spot to a returning Kevin Owens. He was booed initially but has been working babyface since then.

  • The Usos (c) vs. Shane McMahon & The Miz - SmackDown tag team championship

Feeling really bad about letting his teammate down after achieving a dream, Miz campaigned for Shane O’Mac to use his power as a McMahon to book a rematch. The Usos were also on board, and now it’s happening.

  • Asuka (c) vs. Mandy Rose - SmackDown women’s championship

Rose actually managed to beat Asuka in a singles match, so she was rewarded with a title shot.

  • Sasha Banks & Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka - Women’s tag team championship

Jax and Snuka offer the most formidable competition, I guess, so they get the shot. Strangely enough, Bayley beat Nia in a singles match just this past week building to this.

Rumors suggest a reunited Shield will wrestle on this show.
