WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Mar. 19, 2019): Kofi’s a draw

WWE.com

By either of the measures we get from the tv people, the blue brand’s numbers were up on Tues., Mar. 19 and I think we all know why.

#KofiMania, BAY-BEE!

Overall, though, SmackDown LIVE was a really good show this week, and it’s nice to see the numbers reward that. Raw was down this week, but Team Blue’s audience numbers still rose slightly from the week before, up approximately 10K to 2,208,000. That made WWE the fifth most watched cable original on the night, behind History’s Curse of Oak Island, Sean Hannity & Tucker Carlson on Fox News, and Rachel Maddow on MSNBC.

Ratings hit the highest point they have in three weeks - and third best they’ve been all year. SmackDown earned a .74 among 18 - 49 year olds.

We’re trending in the right direction for WrestleMania 35, and Vince McMahon might need a new argument for why he doesn’t want Kofi Kingston in a marquee match at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Here’s a list of WWE’s Tuesday numbers from the past six months:
