If that was Dean Ambrose’s last match in WWE, what a brutal way to go out.
In the main event of Raw, Ambrose was matched-up with a red hot Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath laid the ground work for the falls count anywhere match when he unleashed a violent sneak attack on Roman Reigns earlier in the night.
WWE really sold Reigns’ head injury and it allowed for Ambrose to seek out revenge for his friend.
The match was only 15 minutes long, but McIntyre and Ambrose were able to work almost every square inch of the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

The waning moments of the main event included some just flat out nasty spots.

McIntyre would pick up the win and deliver another Claymore kick on a downed Ambrose right as Raw was going off the air. It felt like the closing of a book.
Earlier in the night, The Shield went their separate ways and the main event of Raw could be a fitting end to Ambrose’s current WWE career.
After a month’s worth of rumors and confirmed speculation from WWE on his contract status, maybe this was the best way for Ambrose to go out; a massive brawl with an even bigger beatdown attached to it.
