The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the TLC event set to take place on Sun., Dec. 15, 2019, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is the company’s annual showcase playing off the popular Tables, Ladders, and Chairs gimmick match that took the pro wrestling world by storm in the early 2000s.
We’re just one week out from showtime and the card looks like this:
- Bray Wyatt vs. The Miz
The Universal championship will not be on the line, and all indications are Wyatt will be his “Funhouse” character and not The Fiend. It seems to be stopgap before they go back to Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan.
- Roman Reigns vs. Baron Corbin
They’ve been going back-and-forth for a while, and they’ll cap all that off with a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Expect mayhem.
- The New Day vs. The Revival (SmackDown tag team championship)
The Revival earned this shot by winning a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match on SmackDown this past week.
Other matches previously scheduled for the show include Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley and Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. The Kabuki Warriors. It’s expected those matches are still going to happen.
Meanwhile, the Observer notes Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy and The Viking Raiders vs. The O.C. for the Raw tag team titles are also likely to be booked.
