Charlotte Flair & Corey Graves agree she’s just going through the motions

Corey Graves might have just messed around and stumbled into a good point.

For WWE’s women’s division, can WWE creative handle more than one story at a time? How about for both their tag team divisions? Shinsuke Nakamura and the Intercontinental title he’s held going on six months would also like a story to run with, if WWE is still taking requests.

Which goes back to Graves’ salient point on the latest episode of the After The Bell podcast. Graves makes the argument that Charlotte Flair has never felt less important and it looks like she’s just going through the motions.

A lack of storyline for someone not chasing after the Raw or SmackDown women’s championship, you say?

“Charlotte Flair has never felt less important than she does right now. This whole tag team thing with Charlotte finding a different partner week after week, it just doesn’t click. I’m not feeling it, and it looks to me like Charlotte’s not feeling it. You can see it on her face. Charlotte Flair looks like she’s going through motions and getting through the night.”

Graves continued.

“Charlotte Flair carried the main event of WrestleMania this year because she is a pro. She’s highly talented. and when she’s motivated, dare I say untouchable. I miss the Queen. My queen, the villainous that just kicked everybody's ass because she was superior. I know I’m forced to explain myself ad nauseam, but allow me to reiterate one more time. I want my queen back.”

Not too sure about carrying the WrestleMania 35 main event part, but you can understand where Graves is coming from.

Adding her two cents to the discussion, Flair took to Twitter.

Disagree with anything Corey Graves says here?

How about the idea that WWE creative largely ignores any female or tag team not chasing after the Raw/SmackDown title? If of all people, Charlotte Flair is walking around supposedly directionless, what hope is there for the rest of the women on WWE’s main roster?
