Worlds Collide gets a dream main event

WWE.com

It’s a clash of factions many had pencilled in for last month’s TakeOver: WarGames. Instead, an eight-man tag match between the fan favorite heel team who runs NXT and the fan favorite heel team that runs NXT UK will headline a different WWE Network special.

That’s right. As announced on the Christmas episode of NXT, next month’s Worlds Collide event in Houston will see Undisputed ERA do battle with Imperium.

WALTER vs. Adam Cole!
Roderick Strong vs. Alexander Wolfe!
Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel vs. Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish!
ALL IN ONE MATCH!

They’ve got until the eve of Royal Rumble to provide a story for this battle for brand supremacy between two sets of bad guys. But even if they don’t, this should be a ton of fun.

No other matches have been announced for the next Worlds Collide, but they’re brought over Kassius Ohno and Travis Banks to build for it in recent weeks.

Do they still need to sell you on another brand vs. brand affair, or is Undisputed ERA against Imperium enough to get you to check out the show at 7 p.m. Eastern on Sat., Jan. 25, 2020?
