WWE Raw drew predictably bad viewership this week

We knew WWE would see a drop off in viewership for Monday Night Raw this week, if only because it was during the holidays and featured a taped show with spoilers readily available beforehand.

Sure enough, this week’s episode drew just 1.84 million viewers. The Christmas Eve show last year did 1.78 million.

The hourly breakdown:

Hour one: 1.96 million
Hour two: 1.86 million
Hour three: 1.69 million

WWE likely expected something like this, but the NFL game on ESPN drew 13.57 million viewers. Viewership is there to be had if the product is compelling enough. This week, it simply wasn’t.
