Jason Jordan hasn’t been on WWE television in almost two years after suffering a neck injury that required surgery and, seemingly, ended his in-ring career. He’s since been working for the company as a producer and enjoying family time.
Speaking of which!

Congratulations to the happy family on the big news.
Meanwhile, Kurt Angle, who was revealed as Jordan’s father in an incredibly goofy storyline that somehow got over, probably because of the performers involved, won’t let it go:
Congrats to my 1st son @JasonJordanJJ on the great news that he and his wife are having a baby girl. No offense, but I hope she looks like her mom, and not like us. Are you going to name her after me? Kurtina? Just a suggestion. Regardless,I’m proud to be an expecting grandpa.

Jordan is effectively retired while Angle is definitely retired. There is zero reason to keep this gimmick going, yet here we are.
Pro wrestling.
