Roman Reigns will make Times Square his yard on New Year’s Eve

Will 2020 be Roman Reigns’ year?

WWE kept him away from their top titles this year, but they can’t keep having him do PPV jobs for Shane McMahon and Baron Corbin forever. So it seems like a safe bet Reigns will soon climb back up to the main event level. He wouldn’t be getting a big crossover spotlight like this if he wasn’t.

Fox will make SmackDown a part of their annual New Year’s Eve broadcast, and that will include at least one match. And that match will include The Big Dog.

In addition to Roman vs. someone who will get pinned after a fist cocking/Superman punching/oooh-ahhh-ing/spearing, Fox and WWE are touting numerous Superstar appearances over the course. Steve Harvey’s co-hosts both happen to be WrestleMania veterans, too - Maria Menounos and Rob Gronkowski.

Here’s the broadcast schedule for New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey: Live from Times Square, in case you want to kick off your 2020 with The Big Dog:

Part 1 airs Tuesday, Dec. 31 (8-10 p.m. ET/CT live MT/PT tape-delayed)
Part 2 airs Tuesday, Dec. 31 (11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET live CT/MT/PT tape-delayed)
