Edge caused a bit of a stir earlier this year when he spoke about whether or not he could theoretically return to the ring. Details PWInsider heard about the Hall of Famer’s new WWE contract led them to speculate on the likelihood of a comeback, years after he retired due to the status of his surgically-repaired neck.
In a tweet this morning, the Rated-R Superstar shoots down... well, he distinctly doesn’t say what he’s shooting down. But given yesterday’s news cycle, it’s pretty clear these are intended to be taken as responses to “are you medically cleared?” and “are you planning a comeback?”:

In a form that if he is a surprise Royal Rumble entrant and John Cena’s opponent at WrestleMania 36, he can claim was in response to “are you Santa Claus?” and “did Christian make the nice list?” or some such.
