Kairi Sane reportedly pulled from post-Christmas house shows

WWE.com

There remains no word from WWE about the nature or severity of the injury or injuries Kairi Sane suffered Sunday night (Dec. 15) at TLC. Considering the signs pointing to a concussion, that’s not terribly surprising. The company is tight-lipped when it comes to brain injury, and usually successful at keeping information about those who’ve experienced it in-house.

What they can’t keep to themselves is when people perform. And coming shortly after they reported Sane was held off the Dec. 16 Raw as a “precaution”, PWInsider now says she’s been pulled from advertising for WWE Live holiday events next weekend.

Dec. 26 in New York’s Madison Square Garden was set to feature another edition of Kabuki Warriors vs. Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair. WWE informed MSG that will now be a Triple Threat steel cage match featuring Flair, Lynch, and Kairi’s partner Asuka.

This is still being positioned as a “better safe than sorry” move from WWE, according to Insider.

Better late than never.
