It’s been a few years since we had any of these, but WWE today announced Wellness Policy suspensions for two Superstars. Robert Roode and Primo Colón are out for the next month as a result of their first violations:
STAMFORD, CONN., December 10, 2019 – WWE has suspended Eddie Colón (Primo) and Robert Roode each for 30 days effective immediately, for a first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
Roode was not on SmackDown last Friday. It was presumed at the time that was just to sell the beating Roman Reigns gave him on the Nov. 29 episode. There was also a rumor Roode and tag partner Dolph Ziggler were supposed to challenge New Day for the blue brand’s tag belts at TLC this Sunday. It’s conceivable but not confirmed both could be related to his suspension.
Colón’s most recent work has been in Puerto Rico, wrestling for his father’s WWC promotion.
