Holiday hangover hurts SmackDown’s numbers

Given that it was the day after Thanksgiving, aka Black Friday, and halfway through a long holiday weekend here in the States, there’s probably not too much call for concern in the halls of WWE and Fox about SmackDown dipping down a bit in viewers and ratings on Fri., Nov. 29.

The blue brand still won the night with 18 - 34 year olds, and among men 18 - 49. The margins were closer than usual... who knew those demos loved Frosty The Snowman so much? But the folks who tuned it at 8 p.m. Eastern largely seem to have stuck around through the two hours, and that’s probably a sign they were sports entertained.
