Report: Bobby Fish may be dealing with a possible concussion

Last night on NXT the scheduled title match between The Undisputed Era versus Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic had to be improvised.

During an early commercial break, Bobby Fish was unexpectedly replaced in the match by Roderick Strong. Viewers were told Fish was hurt, but weren’t given to what extent. The match continued with Kyle O’Reilly and Strong toppling Lee and Dijakovic.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Fish may have suffered a concussion during a spot involving Lee on Wednesday night.

“Bobby Fish was hurt in the first minute of the match or so, when Keith Lee threw him over the top rope and Kyle O’Reilly was supposed to catch him. O’Reilly didn’t catch him or catch him enough. I was told the thought, fear was a mild concussion. The last I heard, which was a couple of hours ago, that was the thought. It may be diagnosed differently later but that was the thing I’ve been told.”

This report piggybacks a rumor about Fish being “knocked for a loop” during the tag team title match.
