Bray Wyatt’s matches with Seth Rollins were generally bad, but there were forces at play there that created an atmosphere of failure. The first match was spectacularly bad, the rematch was much better. It also gave “The Fiend” his first reign as Universal champion, as he brought the title with him to Friday Night SmackDown.
Our first chance to see what his next match would look like came tonight (Sun., Nov. 24, 2019) at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. His opponent, Daniel Bryan, would certainly be much better, right?
For starters, the red light is apparently here to stay.
Joy.
The match was largely about Bryan throwing everything he could at Wyatt and The Fiend simply sitting back up. He is, after all, the monster you cannot kill. Bryan was even technically proficient, with a counter for everything, but it ultimately didn’t matter.
Wyatt still beat him with the Mandible Claw.
