WWE Survivor Series 2019 results: Roderick Strong steals one for NXT

On a Survivor Series card filled with inter-brand matches pitting champion against champion against champion, perhaps the offering with the potential to be greatest featured Raw’s AJ Styles (United States champ) vs. SmackDown’s Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental champ) vs. NXT’s Roderick Strong (North American champ). The three went at it tonight (Sun., Nov. 24, 2019) at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, and, well, it was a predictably good time.

What may have been more interesting is just how WWE would go about booking a winner, considering the respective status of each of the wrestlers on their particular brands. In the end, they went with Strong, who took advantage of Styles hitting a Phenomenal Forearm on Nakamura to steal the pinfall and give NXT a 3-1-1 advantage on the night.
