WWE didn’t bother to announce any matches for the Kickoff show at tonight’s (Sun., Nov. 24, 2019) Survivor Series event at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, until just before the show was going on the air. Then, they just threw a random tag team inter-brand battle royal on to get the evening started.
The Forgotten Sons and the Lucha House Party were eliminated almost immediately. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins quickly followed. Imperium were out next, so while they did score an elimination before going out they didn’t exactly last long. The OC and The Revival put their differences aside long enough to get big Otis up and over to eliminate Heavy Machinery. Breezango were made to look like dopes while being eliminated by The Revival, and that left no NXT teams in the running. The Revival were the next team out, however, as they were dropkicked over the top rope. The OC were next out when Dolph Ziggler superkicked Luke Gallows off the apron.
The final two squads were The Street Profits and Dolph Ziggler & Bobby Roode. Ultimately, the latter team scored the elimination, giving SmackDown the first win of the night.
Not a great showing for NXT early on.
