Toni Storm shows up with Team NXT on SmackDown

Not surprisingly, both Monday Night Raw and NXT showed up early to the party on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. We’re just a couple days from Survivor Series, after all, and there’s some hype to be had!

Right off the rip, the women showed up for what would turn into a triple threat match between the team captains. This is noteworthy because, prior to this, it wasn’t officially announced who would be representing Team NXT. Perhaps it will be these five, though the only thing confirmed as of this writing is Rhea Ripley will be the captain:

Hey, that’s Toni Storm on the main roster!

She’s still doing her thing over in NXT U.K., and has future plans there (spoilers here, if you want them), but this is the first we’ve seen her involved in all this, or on the main roster altogether. This is a strange way to debut her, of course, but it’s Survivor Series and all that.

You know how it is.

For what it’s worth, Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks to win the triple threat match. Score another one for NXT!
