This may be the best match of the weekend.
WWE gimmick matches can often feel forced. It’s October so there has to be a Hell in a Cell match. Every February an Elimination Chamber match or two gets put on the schedule.
In the past, NXT’s WarGames matches could have gotten this label. But not this year, in part due to the excellent promo above.
Why are Rhea Ripley, Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and Mia Yim fighting Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and Kay Lee Ray? All you need is 80 seconds, Poppy providing the soundtrack, and the voice of William Regal yelling “WarGames!!!!” at you.
Put it all in a blender and the NXT women’s WarGames match trailer is pro wrestling perfection.
