Backtracking on the announcement they made, oh... about eight hours ago, Adam Cole will now defend the NXT title at Survivor Series on Sun., Nov. 24 instead of on SmackDown two days earlier.
His opponent will either be Pete Dunne, Killian Dain or Damian Priest. That hasn’t changed. That match might take place tomorrow night on NXT, as this afternoon’s advertisements indicated. It’s still listed in the preview for Wednesday as of this writing.

OR... it might be happening at TakeOver: WarGames this Saturday, as this preview on WWE.com claims.

TakeOver makes more sense, but we’ll let you know when they get their story straight.
Two things seem clear. (1) Adam Cole has a title defense on Sunday night in Chicagoland, and (2) WWE is making stuff up as they go along, as usual.
UPDATE: They have removed the Triple Threat from the preview for the Nov. 20 NXT, so it's #1 contender match on Saturday, title match on Sunday. Just like it probably always should have been.
