After a really dismal performance in the ratings for its premiere episode on Nov. 5, FS1’s WWE Backstage had significantly more viewers in its second week. It still didn’t finish among the top 150 cable originals on Tues., Nov. 12, but viewers jumped into the six figures according to Showbuzz Daily, who replied to a request for information by saying the show had an audience of 100,000.
No word on the show’s rating among 18 - 49 year olds, but we know it was less than the .04 the 150th place show drew.
The big question is, will new “special correspondent” CM Punk bring the ratings next Tuesday (Nov. 19)? The prodigal superstar’s return to WWE-related programming dominated the conversation online, something Fox Sports is very pleased to tell the world (and potential advertisers) about...
