Ryan Satin (who is much better than expected) broke some more news on WWE Backstage this week:
BREAKING:
— WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) November 13, 2019
As reported by @ryansatin on #WWEBackstage:
- @JohnnyGargano ruled out of #SurvivorSeries weekend
- @mikethemiz agrees to multi-year deal with @WWE
- @RealPaigeWWE agrees to new multi-year with @WWE pic.twitter.com/Mxxja2xJPJ
That’s sad news about Gargano, but he wasn’t scheduled for a match, at least. It also leaves the door open for a nice surprise later.
Meanwhile, Miz and Paige signing new contracts aligns with the recent surge of WWE deals. The company has been wanting to lock up as much talent as possible, what with AEW out there as an actual competitor now. Now they don’t have to worry about Miz or Paige going anywhere else anytime soon.
Miz seems happy about it!
BREAKING NEWS dropped by @ryansatin on @FS1 #WWEBackstage: I just signed a new multi year deal w/ @wwe. @wwe has been my home for 15 years & it’ll continue to be for years to come. I promise to work harder than ever to continue to give you MUST SEE TV. IT WILL BE AWESOME!

Indeed it will.
