Rusev is definitely going back to Saudi Arabia with WWE

Whatever stories may have been out there regarding what did or didn’t happen with WWE talent getting stranded in Saudi Arabia, Rusev tells The Sun they weren’t being held hostage and it was just frustrating to have to be away from home as long as they were.

So there’s that.

What’s more, he’s being honest enough to say the money is good enough to go back while also pushing the company line that WWE is breaking down barriers:

“I make a lot of money, I will definitely go back. I love it, I love every single trip that we do there, I love how we break barriers with women wrestling there and Lana being able to go. I think it’s a great victory for the company, not just for that, but to open new doors and new opportunities to develop further, it’s just amazing. It’s a great opportunity for us to be ambassadors for entertainers.”

That’s probably the attitude we’ll see from many of the wrestlers when it comes time to decide whether to go back next year.
