Welp!
Brock Lesnar was, by all appearances, a late add to the lineup on Friday Night SmackDown this week due to so much of the roster dealing with travel issues in Saudi Arabia. There were promises of big surprises, and we got one right away.
Brock Lesnar quit.

Well, he quit Friday Night SmackDown. He did this, according to Paul Heyman, who explained as much, so that he could go to Monday Night Raw to chase Rey Mysterio down and pay him back for what he did at Crown Jewel. This is necessary within the story because, as Heyman said it, wrestlers are exclusive to the networks the shows are broadcasted on. Mysterio, then, is a USA Network guy. Lesnar, prior to this evening, was a FOX guy.
Quitting means he’s a “going into business for himself” guy.
That business seems to be simply moving to Monday Night Raw, at least for now. That would solve the problem of the red brand not having a major title after Seth Rollins lost the Universal championship to Bray Wyatt, at least!
Stay tuned.
