While wearing full bodysuits and over-sized t-shirts, Natalya and Lacey Evans became the first WWE women to wrestle in Saudi Arabia.
One of the last matches on the Crown Jewel card, Natalya versus Evans was announced earlier in the week, with Stephanie McMahon explaining the move by WWE on Wednesday.
Back in 2017, Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss wrestled in Abu Dhabi and broke down another barrier for WWE in the Middle East.
When the bell sounded and Natalya and Evans locked up, the match was nothing out of the ordinary. It felt like a house show match, but it did give WWE announcers a chance to hype up their own women’s revolution as well as Saudi Arabia changing.
A little over five minutes into the contest, Natalya locked Evans in the Sharpshooter for the tap-out.
The QUEEN OF HARTS does it again.
