Tyson Fury got himself a WrestleMania level entrance at Crown Jewel.
The unbeaten boxing heavyweight made his pro wrestling debut opposite Braun Strowman today (Oct. 31) in Saudi Arabia. In a stark contrast to Brock Lesnar versus Cain Velasquez earlier on the card, Fury and Strowman attempted to have a real pro wrestling match.
Headlocks, tie ups, drop-toe-holds, and some grappling were sprinkled in among Fury and The Monster Among Men throwing heavy punches at one another. The match even went outside of the ring as Fury tried to give his take on Roman Reigns’ drive-by kick.
The majority of the match was spent with Strowman going at half speed for the sake of Fury. Strowman did eventually get to run over Fury outside of the ring. Standing on the ring apron, Fury caught Strowman clean with a right hand that floored The Monster Among Men to the ground.
Not even close to beating the referee's ten count, Strowman was counted out and Fury was declared the winner of his first pro wrestling match.
Post-match, Strowman did at least attack Fury.
