That headline isn’t even an exaggeration.
Social media has been lit on fire this evening after various wrestlers took to Twitter to debate the merits of Priscilla Kelly, who you may know from the Mae Young Classic, utilizing a used tampon as a weapon during a match.
Here’s video of it it:

Which led to stuff like this, which clearly disagrees with it:
I’m seeing this post of a women’s match that got disgusting and I’m not gonna repost it Bc it’s seriously a disgrace. Why??? Whoever thought that was a spot that was gonna get a pop and was worth it..... NO. how about telling a story in the ring with your wrestling instead?

And stuff like this, which, in a roundabout way, defends it:
I would never censor anyone’s artistic creativity. To each their own. The telltale sign will be if it connects with an audience. If it finds an audience then can it really be considered wrong? If it doesn’t then it’ll die. You can’t stop change. Trying will only make you bitter. https://t.co/vS55SWUUEq

There’s a lot more, like WWE’s own Road Dogg bringing it up as a reason some folks despise the pro wrestling industry.
For her part, Kelly had this to say:
Hey guys. Ya know, it's all fake.

21+ show with a bar. Can't take life so serious all the time.
Call me what you will...
One thing that will never be in dispute is how aggressively dumb pro wrestling is. My word, it’s just so dumb.
