To triple threat or not to triple threat, that is the question WWE will be asking itself for the next two months.
WrestleMania 35 takes place on Sun., April 7 and at this point, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if company officials mix and match the card all the way up until April 6.
Going against talks earlier in the week that suggested WWE was not done tinkering with the WrestleMania 35’s Raw Women’s title match, Sports Illustrated released a new report today (Jan. 31) saying something very different.
The picture for WrestleMania 35 is far clearer today than it was a week ago.
With only 67 days until the event, sources close to WWE have told Sports Illustrated that the current plan is to close WrestleMania 35 with the Ronda Rousey-Becky Lynch match as the main event.
Fair to Flair?
According to Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required) following Rousey and Lynch’s successful segment on Raw, Charlotte Flair was still likely to be added to the feud when its all said and done.
All signs seem to be pointing towards not only Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch going one one on at WrestleMania 35, but also closing the show.
Will WWE go with what most fans are clamoring for or will the promotion throw a curve ball into the already hot Lynch vs. Rousey feud?
