The best tag team in the world were in need of some challengers, so Shane McMahon just made a match.
48 hours after defeating Cesaro and Sheamus at the Royal Rumble, The Miz and McMahon came to SmackDown to celebrate. After Miz and his Dad had an emotional moment in the ring, the new champs went backstage to see who they would face next.
Heavy Machinery, New Day, the Bar, and the Usos were booked into a number one contender’s match for the SmackDown tag team titles. The winner of the four corners elimination match would get their shot versus Miz and McMahon at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
The biggest surprise of this eight man match was to see how fast Big E and Kofi Kingston were eliminated.

After The New Day were pinned by Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight, Heavy Machinery lasted in the match for awhile. Eventually Dozovic and Knight were taken out by The Bar.
With Heavy Machinery out, Jimmy and Jey Uso took control and quickly pinned The Bar.
