The Man takes up residence in Ronnie’s head, calls out Rousey’s early struggles on the mic from Raw

It’ll be interesting to see how they keep this fresh for the next two and half months. but they’ve done it on and off since Survivor Series, so I’m optimistic.

In the aftermath of their WrestleMania 34 match becoming official at Royal Rumble and on the Jan. 28 episode of Raw, Becky Lynch and Raw Women’s champion Ronda Rousey took to social media, and mostly continued in the same vein we saw last night... a fiery, emotional champ against a cool as ice challenger:

We could fact check Ronda’s second promo from Phoenix and find some questionable/debatable statements, but it was still some of the best work she’s done on the stick in WWE, so I don’t want to nitpick.

The issue is that even a fantastic (and likely 100% true) line like “I have the ability to kill you with my bare hands without even breaking a sweat and the only thing stopping me is my decision not to,” leaves an opening for a wordsmith like Becky.

And The Man landed a worked shoot jab in that opening, this time by mocking Rowdy’s latest stumbling microphone performance before her match on Monday:

Can they keep it up for until April 7? With attention to detail like this, I have faith:
