WWE 205 Live results (Jan. 30, 2019): Is Buddy Murphy unstoppable?

WWE.com

WWE 205 Live returns to WWE Network tonight (Jan. 30, 2019), back live on Tuesday nights, with a show from Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix.

Advertised for tonight: The fallout from Buddy Murphy’s latest Cruiserweight title defense, this time over Hideo Itami, Akira Tozawa AND Kalisto in the Fatal 4Way from the Royal Rumble Kickoff.

Come right back here at 10 p.m. ET. We’ll update all the results from 205 Live live as it airs on WWE Network below the line.

Enjoy the show!

  • The show kicks off with Drake Maverick’s standard show rundown / hype reel.
  • Kalisto over Mike Kanellis by pinfall with a schoolboy pin. Maria Kanellis was on commentary during the match.
  • Drew Gulak and Jack Gallagher get a promo welcoming Humberto Carrillo to 205 Live and asking if he’ll fulfill his potential. They say that, of course, they’re just the men to help him, so they’ll be in his corner in his next match.
  • Ariya Daivari and Hideo Itami get a backstage promo and Daivari complains about four-ways not being fair and says tonight Itami will show how destructive he is. Hideo finishes in Japanese and laughs.
  • We get a clip of a parking lot brawl between Tony Nese and Noam Dar earlier. Drakes Maverick and Wuertz pull Tony off and are joined by more staff to help out.
  • An interviewer informs us that Tony is indefinitely suspended and interviews Buddy Murphy, who essentially declines to comment on the attack. As for his Royal Rumble match, he asked for a challenge, got it, and beat it, so who’s the next challenge? He’s going to do the same as always and knock them down.
  • Akira Tozawa over Hideo Itami by pinfall with the diving senton.
  • Post-match, Daivari helps Itami up... AND HITS HIS PEPSI TWIST ON HIM!
