Advertised for tonight: What’s next now that Becky Lynch has decided to challenge Ronda Rousey, Daniel Bryan ushers in a new era with Erick Rowan, and more!

Come right back here at 8 p.m. ET when the SmackDown live blog kicks off once the show starts on USA. It will be below this line here. (REMINDER: NO GIFS OR PICS ARE ALLOWED IN THE COMMENTS SECTION. OFFENDERS WILL BE BANNED.)

I’m so happy, ‘cause today I’ve found my friends, they’re in my head. I’m so ugly, but that’s okay, cause so are you, we’ve broken our mirrors. Sunday morning is everyday for all I care and I’m not scared. Light my candles in a daze ‘cause I’ve got to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, as well as the interactions between Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch and WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey on Raw last night.

Live in the arena, Becky Lynch makes her entrance, still hobbled slightly by the grueling finale to the Royal Rumble.

She says a lot has happened over the last few days, and she couldn’t resist heading to Raw to look Ronnie in her angry little eyes. And it only took her two seconds to see how different they are, because unlike Ronda, she doesn’t crumble when she loses, so she went out after losing her title match and won the Royal Rumble on just one good leg. Arrogant Rousey wants to talk about her working her way up like it’s something to be ashamed of, but she’s proud of the work she had to put in to get here.

She’s most proud of working her way from the pre-show of last year’s WrestleMania to this year’s main event, and nobody handed her nothing. But the main thing she saw in Ronnie’s eyes last night is something she doesn’t have anymore-- doubt. She’s going to break her arm at WrestleMania, and if Rousey doesn’t walk in knowing that, she’s gonna walk out feeling it.

Enter Charlotte Flair. She mock claps and congratulates Becky for making it off the kickoff and says she must be ecstatic. Feels good, huh? She’s proud of her, seriously, she loves it, but on Sunday she wasn’t even in the Rumble but she willed her way in and won, so maybe she learned something from Flair. She grew to be The Man because of the lessons learned from the Queen.

It was her that brought Lynch to the main event, and she’s happy that she could do all of this for her. She laughs and tells Becky she’s welcome... AND BECKY DECKS HER WITH A SINGLE PUNCH TO THE JAW! She goes to leave, Charlotte out after her, blindsiding her and beating her down on the ramp! Lynch fires back, throwing forearms until Flair throws her into the barricade and road agents Jamie Noble, 5-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce, a plainclothes referee John Cone for some reason, and several uniformed refs pick them apart!

They get back at each other and then get pulled apart again, and then one more time before they finally separate.

Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura is shown admiring his United States Championship, which he’ll have to defend against R-Truth, after the break.

Back from commercial in time for entrances.

R-Truth gets on the mic and says that this past Sunday he got jacked up at the Royal Rumble, and thanks to Nia Jax he didn’t get his entry spot. Carmella says they fought hard for those spots and Truth deserved it. Ron says he doesn’t know how it happened, one minute he was rapping and the next he was napping, and if she hadn’t attacked he’d have won the match, which the McMahons know, and that’s why he got this title match tonight.

R-Truth vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (c) (WWE United States Championship)

Nakamura right in with a jumping kick, knee lifts, the inverted exploder suplex, fired up... TRUTH COUNTERS KINSHASA WITH A JUMPING REVERSE STO! Shinsuke rolls to the floor and we roll to break.

Back from commercial, trading strikes in the corner, Nakamura sets Truth up top and hits the running knee lift to the gut! A second go, a third, cover only good for a nearfall. Fireman’s carry, Shinsuke goes for Landslide, Ron counters...

R-Truth wins by pinfall with a small package, winning the WWE United States Championship?!

Nakamura argues with referee Mike Chioda as commentary shows a replay in which Shinsuke’s shoulders aren’t quite unambiguously down.

Rusev and Lana come down and Rusev says this isn’t right, and he took the title from Nakamura because the title deserves better, and if it deserves better than Shinsuke, it for sure deserves better than R-Truth. So if he’s not too tired, Rusev wants to fight him for it right now! The two pairs bicker about it, Carmella shoves Lana and then Rusev gets in Truth’s face some more!

A shoving match breaks out and Ron accepts! Chioda holds the title up, and we go to break before the match can begin!

R-Truth (c) vs. Rusev (WWE United States Championship)

Rusev has Truth locked down with a reverse chinlock. Following it up, whip into the corner, elbow, up and over, Truth stacks him up...

R-Truth wins by pinfall with a folding press to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Post-match, Shinsuke Nakamura attacks Truth from behind and throws him in the ring with Rusev! The Bulgarian Brute puts boots to him and Shinsuke joins in! Nakamura holds him up... MACHKA KICK! Shinsuke gets his licks in as well and they stand tall over the new champ’s prone body.

A recap of our opening segment follows, because it was cool as hell.

Becky Lynch is shown on her way out of the building when an interview rolls up.

She says she’s fine and isn’t going to spend anymore time on the shelf, which is why she turned down medical help.

Rey Mysterio makes his entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, R-Truth is being checked on by a medic but he refuses ice because he’s champion.

While Rey Mysterio is waiting for Samoa Joe, Zelina Vega comes out and says she knows he was responsible for having her barred from ringside last week, and asks if she’s that distracting that he can’t even focus on Andrade “Cien” Almas? So make sure-- ANDRADE ATTACKS FROM BEHIND! He draws Rey up, Three Amigos but Mysterio floats over the third, 619... COUNTERED WITH THE BACK ELBOW!

Putting boots to Rey... Hammerlock DDT!

Commentary hypes up some festivities and we go backstage with Rusev.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows roll up to ask him what that was about, and he says he lost. Anderson gives him and Nakamura crap for attacking him after he beat both of them, to which Rusev says they should go back to catering. Karl says he and Shinsuke deserve each other, and they wouldn’t fare as well if they got in the ring with them. Nakamura comes outta nowhere to accept the challenge!

The Best Tag Team in the World are shown walking backstage and Miz questions their celebration. Shane McMahon says it’ll be worth it and we go to break.

Back from commercial we get a video package for the United States premiere of Fighting With My Family.

The Best Tag Team in the World make their entrance.

Shane McMahon soaks in chants for himself for a moment before the tide turns and Miz gets the chant, and the A-Lister asks what the surprise is before saying that Phoenix is ready to party with the tag champions. Shane says they don’t need confetti or streamers because what he has planned is bigger than this, and on Sunday Miz helped him achieve a childhood dream.

McMahon started thinking about how he could repay Miz and then it hit him, the one thing he can do for him, after tonight’s moment, he’ll never forget it for the rest of his life. Miz took us on a little journey, and while it’s been weird it’s been fun, so he had this put together, and it’s a video package of their relationship together. Shane admits that he had trepidation at first, and that’s why he’s been building to something special.

This is the one thing, the one motivational force that’s a constant in his life, that makes Mike Mizanin do what the Miz does every day, so he’s got Miz’s dad, George Mizanin here!

George makes his entrance decked out in the same kind of jersey they wore on Sunday when they won the tag titles and gets in the ring. Miz says he was supposed to be on a flight this morning, and Shane says he called him here to be part of this. Mr. Mizanin has something to say, and he tells Miz that he loves him and he’s very proud of himl. They hug and Shane shuffles around them in a celebratory manner!

Shane says he’s emotional but they have business to attend to, and he wants to figure out who they’re going to defend against, so he booked a four-way elimination match for the contendership that starts right now!

Back from commercial we get some hype for the Worlds Collide tournament.

Backstage, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are interviewed, and they’re entering the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Rose has her own announcement and says it’s not always easy being her and people are always trying to knock her down, people like Naomi. Mandy has some footage to explain why she’s got a problem with Naomi and they air it, which is from Tough Enough back in 2015 with Team BAD running her down at the time.

Sonya says Rose hasn’t been the same since that day and you didn’t hear what Naomi said when the cameras were off, which she’s not going to repeat, and she made Mandy, who doesn’t cry, cry. Rose says she cried until she developed a complex so bad that her boyfriend left her. Naomi ruined her relationship, so she went after hers. Mandy says it’ll never end, but for right now her mind is on the Elimination Chamber.

Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) vs. New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) vs. the Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus) vs. the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Elimination Match)

Dozovic and an Uso to start, big shoulder block from the beef man and Kofi tags in. Probing kicks at Otis, off the ropes, duck a lariat, another one, slide low... AND DOZER SITS DOWN ON HIM! Tag to E... AND WE GOT THE BEEF! THAT TRICEP MEAT! Hip swivel, getting Otis excited, off the ropes, both men go for a lariat and neither moves! Big sends Otis running, looking for a Cobra Twist, denied, off the ropes for a collision!

Dozer scoops E up, hits the slam, tag to Knight. Bushwhacker march, off the ropes, they make a sandwich of E and bump bellies after to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Cesaro’s got an Uso and hits a Karelin lift as he tags Sheamus. Off the ropes, knee drop gets two and Jimmy’s still in it. Reverse chinlock applied, tag back to Cesaro, he grabs a sleeper hold off the ropes and Jimmy starts flagging. Down to one knee, to both, but Uso powers up and reverses to a back suplex! Sheamus tags in, clear New Day from the apron, Jimmy ducks under and tags Jey in!

Uso clears the apron, superkick, right hand, duck a lariat, Samoan drop for two! Charging in, back body drop sends Jey to the floor but E tagged in! Sheamus mounted punches, tag from Kofi, E’s got him in a powerbomb, Kingston perched... DOUBLE STOMP POWERBOMB BUT CESARO MAKES THE SAVE! Right hand from E, Cactus Clothesline! Dozer tags himself in on Kofi, eats a gamengiri, Kingston with a diving crossbody but Otis catches him!

Knight legal, off the ropes...

Heavy Machinery eliminate New Day by pinfall with the Compactor on Kofi Kingston.

Jey and Tucker squaring up, Uso ducks a lariat, clear the apron, low bridge for Knight, both men lined up, Usos take flight, blind tag from Cesaro but Jimmy completes the dive! The Bar drag Jey out... PRESS SLAM INTO THE TIMEKEEPER’S BARRICADE TO SEND US TO BREAK!

Back from commercial, Cesaro in control on Knight, crossface applied but Tucky counters to a back suplex! Sheamus tags in, running stomp, jawing at Dozovic, Knight with right hands and the Celtic Warrior gives it back him just as well. Posing, off the ropes and Knight decks him with a lariat! Tags made, Dozer runs Cesaro over, Stinger Splash for Sheamus, release northern lights suplex for the Swiss Superman!

Stack ‘em up, double Stinger Splash... DOZER HITS THE CATERPILLAR BUT CESARO KICKS OUT! Catapult Cesaro into a hip toss, Sheamus breaks it up! Match breaks down a little, Tucky runs into a boot and Jimmy tags in, diving splash... SO CLOSE! Dozer catches a superkick, the roundhouse lands, superkick for Knight and Sheamus tags in on the Uso! Off the ropes...

The Bar eliminate Heavy Machinery by pinfall with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus on Tucker Knight!

Superkicks for the Bar, dive to the floor, up top...

The Usos win, last eliminating the Bar by pinfall with a diving splash on Sheamus to become #1 contenders to the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Daniel Bryan is shown walking past a crew member eating a sandwich and slaps it out of his hand to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Corey Graves offers a special update that Mandy Rose has had a herbal tea and is going to be okay.

Daniel Bryan makes his entrance.

He asks if the crowd knows who won on Sunday, which earns him a resounding “Becky!” chant, because I mean... He says each and every one of us is who won, and also our children (not having those, Dan) and our children’s children (see above), we all won because he won and a victory for him is a victory for every sentient being on earth (well that I buy) because Daniel Bryan IS the Planet’s Champion!

He doesn’t expect us to understand what he’s saying because none of us know what winning actually feels like, but that’s okay, because he’s found someone who understands the truth in what he says, and that man came out to help on Sunday, not for him, but for the greater good... Erick Rowan! (Who only gets his last name, but the O is replaced with a recycling symbol, which is pretty neat.)

He asks what we see when we look at Rowan, saying we see a mindless runt, but he spends his evenings reading Chaucer, and yes his hands are dirty, but that’s because he works with the dirt of the earth, and Rowan is his intellectual peer! But even somebody as ignorant as AJ Styles is right sometimes, and he IS a hypocrite, because he carries the title belt around.

Rowan gets a trash can and Dan asks if we see the title, saying it’s a symbol of excellence and also of excess. It’s gaudy, made from cheap labor, and worst of all, bound to the skin of a cow whose life was taken from her. He’d like to give that cow a name, and in his mind, her name was Daisy. Daisy had the ability to feel immense joy, which she didn’t get to feel much of in this life, and also immense pain, which she DID feel.

Daisy was forced to give her life for this symbol, and this symbol is the very thing that he and Rowan stand against! He throws the title in the garbage, Madusa-style and calls it trash! He says we need a new symbol and asks Erick to pull it out... it’s a hemp and woodgrain version of the title, decorated with bits of turquoise! He holds it aloft and starts to explain it--

Enter AJ Styles. He says he wasn’t gonna stand by while Bryan threw the title in the trash and asks if he smoked the prototype, which he says he did not. AJ says for somebody who doesn’t like big corporations he sure went and found a big insurance policy, but--

Enter Randy Orton as we go to break.

Back from commercial, Mustafa Ali is coming down.

He says he sees a bunch of hall of famers arguing where the line starts, and he goes to point out that he has a pin on Bryan when Orton says he got eliminated by a girl. He goes to retort--

Enter Samoa Joe, saying he ain’t coming for permission, he’s down here to put a champion to sleep! He’s gonna defang the viper, he already put Jeff Hardy out and also tells him to treat this like an AA meeting and shut his mouth while he’s sharing with the group! He says Ali is a boy among men and he got lucky at the Rumble, but he’s got a reality check and his eyes don’t lie either, ‘cause they were closed real tight when he put his simple eyes to sleep last week!

He asks AJ how his girl Wendy is doing and a brawl breaks out! RKO! Twist of Fate! Bryan says none of them are getting shots and he’s going to be champion forever!

Triple H appears on the screen and says he wants to confirm for him and the world that he’s not wrestling any one of those superstars... he’ll be defending against ALL of them inside the Elimination Chamber!

The brawl resumes! Ali hammering Orton in the corner, Joe dumping Styles into the crowd, Bryan runs off! Randy throws Mustafa into the barricade! Ali and Orton are still fighting on the stage!

That’s the show, folks.
