Two teams book their ticket to women’s tag team championship Elimination Chamber match

WWE announced just hours before this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw that qualifying matches for the women’s tag team championship Elimination Chamber match would take place on the show. Sure enough, two teams booked their ticket to the event scheduled for Sun., Feb. 17, 2019, in Houston, Texas.

First, Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka absolutely ran right through Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, something of a surprise if only because it’s strange seeing Bliss return from injury and be beaten this quickly.

Next, The Riott Squad scored a win over the mishmash team of Natalya and Dana Brooke.

That leaves just one more spot open from the Raw side, and we’ll learn who will fill it next week, when Sasha Banks and Bayley take on Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross. That just leaves three teams from the SmackDown side.

As of now, this is the only match official for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
