One of the most highly anticipated matches on tonight’s (Sun., Jan. 27, 2019) WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, at least around these parts, was Ronda Rousey putting the Raw women’s championship up for grabs against Sasha Banks. There were multiple angles going in, from Rousey wanting this as a “dream” match of hers, to Banks looking to prove once again she deserves top billing, to both bringing up The Four Horsewomen.
Before the match even started, Charly Caruso interviewed Banks and brought up how “some think you’re destined to fail because you can’t keep your emotions in check.”
She failed, but it wasn’t because of her emotions.
The early story of the match was Rousey proving both to Banks and the crowd that she can indeed wrestle, as she had a counter for everything Sasha had to offer. So did The Boss, of course, but the early portion was about establishing Rousey:

Later, we got a hope spot for Sasha, where it looked like maybe they would do the unthinkable and put Banks over:

But no.
Later still, Ronda actually got a tap from Sasha but they were on the outside, so the match continued. They went back to a series of counters and reversals but in the end Rousey hit her finish and pinned Banks clean in the center to retain the title.
They showed respect after. Then, this:
.@SashaBanksWWE with the reminder... don't cross the Boss. #4HW
