We won’t see it until next Saturday (Feb. 2), but WWE is filming its Worlds Collide tournament at Royal Rumble Axxess this weekend.
The 15 man tournament features Superstars from NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live, and will be taped across three sessions in Phoenix before the Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) on Sun., Jan. 27. All entrants will take part in a battle royal to determine bracket seeding (based on order of elimination) and the winner gets a shot at a title of their choice from the brands involved.
The battle royal and the final rounds will air as a two hour special on WWE Network at 8PM eastern on Feb. 2. Opening round action will stream at 12PM eastern on the 2nd via WWE’s digital channels.
Tournament entrants are:
- NXT’s Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee & Shane Thorne
- NXT UK’s Mark Andrews, Tyler Bate, Travis Banks, Jordan Devlin & Zack Gibson
- 205 Live’s Cedric Alexander, Humberto Carrillo, Drew Gulak, Tony Nese & TJP
