With his rumored feud “in serious jeopardy”, there’s no time like the present to speculate on who John Cena might be facing at WrestleMania 35 in New Jersey this April.
WWE got in on the act with their latest List This! video, naming Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, Velveteen Dream, Rey Mysterio and Brock Lesnar as dream opponents for the 16 time WWE World champ:
The video explains why each match-up makes sense. There’s already an intriguing case for Dream, considering Cena’s shouted him out as an up-and-comer he’d like to work with the way Kurt Angle once worked with him. But even if it doesn’t happen at MetLife Stadium this spring, Velveteen is still calling his shot:
One day The DREAM will wrestle John Cena & everyone will rejoice.

Of course, that was all before Elias turned babyface. But it’s not like Rey vs. Cena wouldn’t pit two good guys against one another.
Who do you think will face the Face That Runs (Ran?) The Place on April 7?
