Braun Strowman is having a rough week.
Strowman’s boss is mad at him, he just lost out on a sweet gig and he’s out $100,000. This would cause any man, much less a Monster Among Men to randomly “ROAR” into the sky.
Down but not out, Strowman broke his silence and made his first public comments since having his Universal title shot taken away from him on Monday night Raw. In a new interview with the Asbury Park Press, Strowman appeared to be good mood about the whole situation.
“It’s a pretty hard pill to swallow right here right now, but at the same time I’m going to use it for fuel to the fire to continue to push the monster train along. Nothing’s going to stop me from reaching the top of this mountain.”
Strowman even revealed what is plan B is and how he still plans to compete at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Jan. 27.
“I’m going to do my best to get into the 30-man Royal Rumble (match). Right now I know I’m not in the good graces with the boss right now with destroying his limo and stuff like that. So I might have to go in there the old fashioned way, how Braun Strowman has always got what he wanted, and do a little heavy persuading.”
The road to Wrestlemania may still go through Strowman and winning the 30-man battle royal would be one way for The Monster Among Men to get back on the card.
If Strowman works his way into the Rumble match, does he automatically become one of the favorites to win?
