We’re nearing the end of talking about the whole “fresh start” initiative from WWE, mostly because, well, nothing feels all that fresh about the product at this point. We’re still getting random six man tags set up by even more random brawls, and a lot of the McMahon family, and matches on repeat.
Speaking of which, WWE has announced that Rey Mysterio and Andrade Almas will wrestle again on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
Here’s how they’re selling it on WWE.com:
Mysterio and Almas’ prior battles include a singles match from Nov. 6 and a tag team bout last week, and the two dynamic Superstars have produced instant classics each time, with the WWE Universe lauding them for their incredible athleticism.
They also include a couple tweets from fans asking for more of Mysterio vs. Almas, I guess to justify running it back. Hey, the idea is to give fans more of what they want, right? They found fans who want this, so they’re going to give it to them.
Can’t argue with that, right?
