Becky Lynch welcomes John Cena back to SmackDown

John Cena and his new hair returned to SmackDown, and had even he had some questions.

After everyone stopped staring at his hair, Cena addressed some of the issues that have surrounded his return to WWE. Cena talked losing badly at WrestleMania 34, traveling to China for six months, of course his new haircut, Bumblebee and he even acknowledged getting dumped by Nikki Bella.

Then Cena asked the question everyone was thinking, why was in back in WWE?

Cena tried to answer his own question but couldn’t really put his finger on it. Before Cena could come to his own conclusion, the music for Becky Lynch hit over the PPG Paints Arena speakers and The Man came down to introduce herself.

On the mic, Lynch left Cena speechless and let the former Face That Runs the Place that The Man now runs this corner of the WWE. Just as Lynch was hitting her stride Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega came out and interrupted the segment.

An impromptu mixed tag match followed, with the team of Lynch and Cena picking up the win.

Without any hiccups, besides Lynch tossing Cena from the ring so she could apply her signature submission, Almas and Vega were defeated with ease.

Also, let’s never forget The Man doing this to Cena.

Perfect.

So that was the first of handful of scheduled John Cena TV appearances over the next few weeks. Will the remainder of Cena’s cameos on Raw and SmackDown follow this formula?
