WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Sept. 25, 2018): Not as bad as Raw!

While it didn’t take the plunge its Monday night counterpart did, WWE’s Tuesday night offering on USA Network did lose viewers on Sept. 25 compared to the week prior. SmackDown’s audience was 88K people smaller last night than it was seven days ago, registering at 2,193,000.

That took the show back down to the range it was in in late June/early July. At least it didn’t beat Raw? That would have been a weird look for the company...

The blue brand was the ninth most watched cable original on the night, trailing an assortment of MSNBC and Fox News political talk shows.

Demographic share was also down, but contained a bit of a silver lining. WWE regained the top spot in the ratings among 18 - 49 year olds after a couple weeks of being bested by FX’s Mayans M.C. The bikers finished a distance second to sports entertainment this week, thanks to a .72 for SmackDown.

Will the last show before Super Show-Down provide a boost? While you consider that, here’s a list of Tuesday numbers from the past six months:
