The Revival come close but can’t topple Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre

New, comments

Remember The Revival? This week on Raw Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder finally got their shot at revenge against Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.

It was just a few short weeks ago when Ziggler and McIntyre cut the line, beat the hell out of the Revival backstage and took their tag team title shot versus The B-Team.

Now Ziggler and McIntyre are tag team champions and they put their titles on the line versus the Revival tonight on Raw.

In a well paced match, between two heel teams, it was the Revival who dominated the action early and isolated Ziggler for the majority of the match.

What quickly became a showcase match for Dawson and Wilder, the former NXT tag team champions hit every big move in their arsenal on Ziggler.

A hyped crowd at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado even bestowed upon a “this is awesome” chant on the Top Guys.

Despite their best efforts, the Revival could simply not put away Ziggler. Once McIntyre got the hot tag, he took out both Dawson and Wilder with ease. A Claymore Kick into a Zig-Zag was enough for the champions to retain their titles.

No flips, just fists but no titles.

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder wrestled move for move with the Raw tag team champions, how long will it be before The Revival get another shot at WWE gold?
