Season two of Mixed Match Challenge might be cursed, y’all.
Here’s Cathy Kelley’s second breaking news update about a line-up change due to injury, this time to Sasha Banks.

Mickie James will replace The Boss as Bobby Lashley’s partner. There’s no talk of this being a temporary substitution, which is how Kelley’s video framed Alexa Bliss’ injury earlier this week before other signs and reports later indicated Ember Moon would work with Braun Strowman for the remainder of the Facebook Watch show’s second season.
Sasha isn’t really involved in a storyline on Raw. Things have been copacetic with Bayley, and the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection have been taking turns beating the recently independent Dana Brooke. That’s technically a program, but definitely not one which merits a kayfabe injury angle. So we have to assume Banks really is banged up.
You can head over to the Mixed Match Challenge page on the social network to vote on the name for James and Lashley’s alliance ahead of their debut on Tues., Sept. 25 against Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal. We’ll let you know as soon as we get some news on Banks.
